Morgan is the daughter of Robert and Shaya Richenberger. While in high school, Morgan was very active, participating in volleyball, softball, band, basketball, track and football cheerleading. Morgan was also a member of student council, FFA, FCA, and National Honor Society.
Morgan states Ms. Bostian had the biggest influence on her time at WHS. Having her for a teacher for 3 years, Ms. B was always there for her and other students as well. Help with a paper, giving advice, or making her laugh, Morgan is thankful she had Ms. Bostian as a teacher!
Morgan plans to attend Kirkwood Community College and study to become an Occupational Therapist Assistant. Best wishes, Morgan!

“Have fun while it lasts - it flies by!” Words of advice from senior, Owen Housman. Owen is the son of Doug and Faith Housman. While having fun at WHS, Owen participated in football, baseball, basketball, wrestling and track.
Owen says Mr. Parsons had the biggest impact on him during his high school years because, “He always expected the best out of you and was there to help you achieve your best.”
Owen’s future plans are to attend Kirkwood Community College and major in Ag Business. Good luck, Owen!

Serah Shafer is the daughter of Debbie Shafer and the late Richard Shafer. Serah left her mark on WHS, participating in softball, volleyball, basketball, track, and band. She was also a member of FCA, FFA, National Honor Society, student council, and the PBIS student committee.
Mrs. Marshall and Mrs. Ungerer had the biggest impact on Serah in high school. Mrs. Marshall taught Serah that struggles are good, and that you can’t grow without struggle. “Her classes taught me so much, not just about math, but about life as well.”
About Mrs. Ungerer, Serah states, “Her joy of school, teaching, and life is very contagious. She never fails to put a smile on my face, and I look forward to her class because her lessons are very interesting and she also teaches us what life is all about.”
Serah will attend Upper Iowa University in the fall to continue her education and play softball. She leaves with this advice for underclassmen, “Don’t take your time in high school for granted.” We wish you the best, Serah!

After high school, Joe plans to attend Southeastern Community College to become a welder.
