“You were born an original. Don’t die a copy.” Words Kainoa Kunanaikealoha Taulomi Seumanutafa quotes. The son of Jonelle Klattenhoff, Kainoa plans to attend SCC after graduation to major in construction management. While in high school, Kainoa spent the majority of his time roaming the halls and playing sports. He was a member of the football, wrestling, and soccer teams for four years; the baseball team for three years; and a member of FCA, also for three years. Kainoa names Ms. Eakins as his most influential teacher during high school for providing him moral support. He recommends underclassmen to respect your elders! Good luck, Kainoa!

“If you can’t find me, you know where I’ll be…Ms. Eakins’s office!” That’s because Ms. Eakins had a positive impact on Riley during high school. When Riley’s motivation got low, she could always count on Ms. Eakins to keep pushing her forward - which happens quite a lot! She’s always there to talk, whether it’s important or not. While in high school, Riley participated in choir for two years, golf and wrestling cheer for one year. If Riley wasn’t on her phone, she was writing papers and making sure her homework was done. She encourages underclassmen to not take this time for granted because it goes by quicker than you could ever imagine. Riley is the daughter of Eric Richie and Tim and Tawnya Arnold. She plans to attend Indian Hills and enroll in their Radiology Technician program. If quoted for the yearbooks, Riley would say, “Let the good times roll!” Congratulations, Riley!

“Just have fun, go with the flow, and ask for help if you need it!” Words of wisdom from Stephanie Perez. She claims she spent most of her time in high school stressing, working on English homework and hanging out with friends. Stephanie also participated in soccer and Spanish Club for a year. Stephanie, the daughter of Cecilio and Maria Perez, plans to graduate from WHS and attend Capri College to become a cosmetologist. Mrs. Kral made a difference in Stephanie’s life by always being there when she needed help with something specific and she taught her to never give up. If quoted in the yearbook, Stephanie would say, “Surprised I made it!” Best wishes, Stephanie!

Working and hanging out with friends is how Yahaira Yamileth Castilleja Martínez spent most of her high school years. She was also involved in soccer and was a football cheerleader for 2 years, and was in choir, student council and Spanish club for 1 year. Yahaira, the daughter of Maria and Eliu Castilleja, plans to attend cosmetology school and specialize as a lash technician. Mrs. Kral is the staff member who had the most influence on Yahaira in high school. Yahaira has known Mrs. Kral for about 10 years and from the start she knew she could rely on her if anything went wrong. “My gratitude goes to her for helping me in many ways, because of her I can speak English today. She truly made a huge impact in my life and that is something I'll forever be grateful for.” Yahaira’s advice to underclassmen is to have fun and make memories! If quoted for the yearbook, she would say, “Bye!” Good luck, Yahaira!

“All I want is to have my peace of mind”- Boston – These are the words senior, Aragorn Little, lives his life by. Aragorn Little is the son of Scott Little and Noella Flores and has spent his high school years, “Enjoying the atmosphere and the people around me.” He also spent a lot of time as a member of the choir, football, basketball, and golf teams. He also is a member of the TIES team. Aragorn says that his favorite teacher is his fifth grade teacher, Tyler Gellinger, because “[He] taught me how to be respectful. He cared about me. He made me a better kid which really helped me down the road and he was very influential and motivational. He even cried when I graduated from Elementary school to middle school.” The words of guidance that he would give to underclassmen would be, “Don’t skip, go to class.” Next fall, Aragorn plans to join the workforce, become a full-time volunteer firefighter, and be an ambulance driver for Wapello. Good Luck, Aragorn!
