Congratulations to the Wapello Golf team for qualifying for the state tournament to be held Monday and Tuesday at Ames Golf and Country Club. Wapello shot a 338 and was led by Cooper Garrison with a 79 followed by Dawson Tipps 83, Codder Malcom 85, and Zach Harbison with a 91.
Registration is now open for the Iowa State University Extension and US Soccer Foundation Soccer for Success Camp to be held June 5-16 at the Wapello Elementary School from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Daily. Preschool loves animal visits. The Theobald and Vineyards brought a miniature donkey and a baby goat to visit Preschool.
They did it again! Back to back. Boys golf is headed to state.
Evelyn Schwartz was our 1st grade “Star of the Week!” She shared her sweet dog, Georgie! He was the friendliest dog. Evelyn also did a great job reading her favorite book, “Brown Bear Brown Bear.”

The Wapello girls golf finished their season with a 4th place finish in regionals Friday. The girls scored their low team score of the year. The 4 seniors of Liv Fuller, Olivia Malone, Dakota Griffin, and Liby Shafer were a great group of golfers and will be missed.
