The SEISC Shootout pairings are in: Wapello will host WACO Friday, February 1st in a JV/ Varsity doubleheader beginning at 6:00.

RESCHEDULE: tonight’s HS basketball games will be played Saturday, February 2nd beginning with JV Girls at 2:00 pm. The Prom Taco Supper will also start serving at 2:00. #wearewapello

Since we will start the day with a wind chill advisory from the National Weather Service, Wapello will have a 2 hour late start on Tuesday, January 29. The advisory will change to a warning about the time of dismissal, but temperatures should hold steady until approx. 5:00.

Indian Wrestling traveled to Highland Saturday for the SEISC Wrestling meet. In a full afternoon the Indians finished second in team standings with an overall score of 132, just one point off the leader (133). Four Indians made the podium; Colton Meeker (113), Daniel Meeker (126), and Christopher Ewart (132) all finished 1st. Mitchell Moore (120) finished 2nd second, while Chase Witte (106) and Dakota Boline (285) finished 4th. Evan Ross (145) and Ricky Pforts (195) ended the day with a 5th place finish. James Wykert (182) fought hard on the day for his team. #wearewapello #wapellotribepride





In tonight’s Southeast Iowa Super Conference Shootout game the Arrows fell to the Danville Bears with a score of 41-23.
