Wapello Elementary will host the Early Childhood Open House from 5:30-6:30 p.m. If you have a Pre-Kindergarten or Kindergarten Student for the 2019-2020 school year, we invite you to come check out our Early Childhood Classrooms, meet the teachers, and see what Wapello Elementary has to offer. Congratulations to the Wapello Large Group Speech contestants who competed this past Saturday at Cedar Rapids Kennedy.
Ensemble Acting (Drew Ehrman, Lydia Fisher, Matthew Peterson, & Claire Hoeg) received a Division I rating. Marking a Division II rating was Group Improv (Blake Maine, Alex Caudle, Riley Gerst, Timber Bolander, & Tess Loyd), Musical Theatre (Blake Maine & Makenna West), & Group Mime (Lily Williams, Alex Caudle, Riley Gerst, Chalee Ramos, & Matthew Peterson).
ATTENTION: tonight’s JV/Varsity Boys Basketball game has been postponed for tonight. It is tentatively rescheduled for Friday, Feb. 8th.
Wapello is dismissing 2 hours early today, February 5th because of the ice storm headed our way.
