The Wapello Community School District is accepting sealed bids on a Curtis Sno-Pro snow blade, brackets, and controls. The unit was removed from service in October 2020, and is sold as-is. The brackets that are included fit a 2007 Ford F-250. Interested bidders should submit a sealed bid by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2020 to the Wapello CSD Central Administration Office, 406 Mechanic Street, Wapello, IA 52653. Please mark your bid - Snow Plow Bid. The Board of Directors will consider all bids at their November 11, 2020 meeting. The board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

Good evening. At their board meeting tonight, the board decided to adopt a compromise position on a mask mandate. Effective starting tomorrow, if someone in school is determined to be a close contact of a person infected with COVID-19, the close contact will not need to quarantine, provided the close contact is wearing a mask at the time of exposure.
