We are helping to spread the word on this great program! Victory Christian Center, a local Louisa County church, is giving away free boxes of food for families in Wapello this Saturday, December 5 from 9:30am to Noon. Each thirty-pound box will contain fresh food and milk, and is completely free. Boxes will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Come down to the Wapello Fairgrounds at 9:30am on Saturday Morning!

-12 grade Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for this evening, from 5:30-8:30. Masks are required for face to face conferences. If parents do not feel comfortable with face to face conferences they may contact individual teachers and schedule a phone conference or email teachers with any concerns they may have regarding their child’s academic status.

The Wapello Community School District would like to thank the Community Foundation of Louisa County for a couple of the grants that were awarded to the Wapello JR/SR High in the 2019 granting cycle. With the grant funds that were awarded, a new library circulation desk as well as a new table and stools in the Junior High English/Language Arts Classroom. We are grateful to the Community Foundation of Louisa County for their continued support of the district by granting funds to the district for additional projects such as these.
