Those Wapello fans travelling to L-M for tonight's Baseball and Softball games, if you remember the Sombrero in Grandview, and have wished you could get some of their food just one last time, tonight is your lucky night! The L-M Athletic Boosters will be selling Sombrero Tacos and Enchiladas at tonight's games! JH Baseball will play the 8th grade game first Thursday night beginning at 5:30 when they face off against the L-M Falcons.

If you’re headed to the HS baseball and softball games at L-M tonight, be sure to stop by and get yourself a Sombrero taco or enchilada! The L-M Athletic Booster will be selling tonight hot or as a take home!

BASEBALL TODAY: Due to pop-up rain showers this morning, today's Baseball game rescheduled at Hillcrest Academy will be VARSITY ONLY at 2:00 pm.

If you signed up for summer meals pick up is from 11am to 1pm today.

After rain forced the Wapello out of their game @ Hillcrest Academy; the Indians will be back in action Wednesday (June 8th) afternoon! Varsity will take the field first at 1:00 pm, followed by JV. (Reminder: the Arrows will face the Ravens in a double header on June 27th at Wapello).

The Arrows will be at home this evening when they will welcome the Holy Trinity Crusaders to the Carl "Mac" McGill Athletic complex for a 5:30 p.m. showdown in softball action tonight. Head out to the ball field to catch the Arrows in action tonight! #WeAreWapello

The Lady Lions will roll into the Carl "Mac" McGill Athletic Complex this evening to square off with our Wapello Arrows in Softball action. After a weather cancellation last night, the Arrows are ready to be back on the diamond looking for another win. 5:30 p.m. is the scheduled first pitch in the JV game with the Varsity to follow. Come out to the ballpark tonight for some great softball action and cheer on the Arrows to another win! #WeAreWapello #WapelloTribePride

The Indians will return home tonight to take on the Lions from Lone Tree High School. JV will kick off the action tonight at 5:30 with the varsity to follow. Come out to cheer on the Indians at home tonight in a beautiful night for baseball. #WeAreWapello #WapelloTribePride

Monday's rain out with Hillcrest Academy has been rescheduled! The Indians will travel back to Hillcrest on Wednesday, June 8th for a 1:00 Varsity game, with the JV to follow. The Arrows will play a doubleheader with Hillcrest Academy softball June 27th when the Ravens come to Wapello. #wearewapello

The Junior High Indians and Arrows will be on the road again tonight when they travel to Lone Tree High School for Baseball and Softball action. Games will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Lone Tree High School. Good Luck to our Indians and Arrows tonight! #WeAreWapello

Tonight’s Junior High Baseball game scheduled for 5:30 at home has been cancelled due to incoming weather. That is the only cancellation we are aware of at this time.

Girls basketball camp begins today. Note the change of time on WEDNESDAY. Monday 12-2PM Tuesday 12-2PM Wednesday 8-9:30AM Thursday 12-2PM For all girls going into 4-8th grade. Completely Free. Must attend Wapello or Morning Sun schools.

Summer break is in full swing, but this week features another full schedule of activities at WCSD. Baseball and Softball for the JH and HS are in full swing, weight training continues again this week for week 2 of the 8 week program. Girls Basketball Camp (FREE) will take place Monday - Thursday this week from 12:00 - 2:00, the FFA Banquet will be on Saturday night and summer school begins on Monday for a two week program!
