Students attended the Southeast Iowa Building Trades Expo today with the opportunity to learn about multiple types of Union skilled jobs.




Reminder… Wapello Youth Girls Basketball will have practice tonight from 6:00-7:00 in the practice gym. Teams haven’t been decided yet because we’re still gathering coaches. Once coaches are established a team group chat will be created for better communication. Please continue to share the word.

Hall of Fame ceremony! We will hold the induction of the first 3 members to the Wapello Hall of Fame on November 22 between the JV and Varsity girls basketball games.
We are asking all former players and assistant coaches of Kent Johnson or Ken Spielbauer to join us.

JH girls basketball is at home tonight versus Columbus.

Oliver Loyd was our 1st grade “Star of the Week!” We enjoyed his favorite book, “If you Give a Pig a Pancake.” He also shared his snake he picked out on his vacation this summer! We were glad it wasn’t a real one!



1st grade teachers enjoyed conferences and loved surprising their parents with a self-portrait of themselves in their seat! Thank you for attending and sharing your child with us!


Mrs. Gipple read, “Click, Clack, Moo Cows that Type,” to 1st grade! She showed us what a typewriter looked like and how to use one! Each student received a letter from Farmer Brown! They all loved it!🐮



1st grade loves hearing Mrs. Loyd share her favorite children’s books to us every Wednesday afternoon! Thank you for sharing your love of reading with us!❤️



Tavia Lanz was our 1st grade “Star of the Week!” She did a great job reading her favorite book and we got to meet her little sister, Tia! We loved hearing all of the things they play together and how special she is to Tavia!
