The Wapello CSD food pantry will be open on Thursday, August 25th from 3:45 - 5:00.

We want to welcome Mrs. Tammy Malone to the #WeAreWapello family! Tammy is joining the staff at Wapello Elementary and will be our Elementary Library/Computer Lab Paraeducator.
Tammy is a 1987 WHS graduate who started working right out of high school rather than attending college to help out her family. Her family includes her husband Jon, and their five children, Cody, Dalton, Cally, Keaton, and Lyv who is a senior at Wapello this year! She also has three family pets, Maverick, Tik, and Archie.
In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family at home, enjoying our farm with all the animals. You can also find her at school or the ball field watching Lyv in all her activities, especially this year being her last! She also enjoy spending time with her grandchildren Keir & Quincy!
We are excited that Tammy has joined the Wapello Elementary Staff. We know the students are going to love seeing Tammy in the Library as she reads to them, and helps them grow in their own reading journey. Help us to welcome Tammy to our staff!

It is the first day of school, it has been a while since you have seen our big yellow buses out on the road. Just a reminder of when you are required to stop for a school bus and when you are not.
Please know, understand, and obey the laws, they are there to protect our most precious cargo, our students and the children of our community. Help us to be tragedy free when it comes to school bus stops this year!
