Congratulations to Cohen Wolford on his 1st Place finish and to Carter Ball on his 3rd place finish, Grayson Nagle 4th Place, Draysin Crow 5th Place, Jordan Chamberlin 6th Place, Jaime Prado 7th Place at the BGM Tournament!
Yesterday Kenadee Helscher and Clara Ball got to wear the new final singlets at the North Scott Wrestling tournament where they both came away with 1st place finishes. Let’s all keep this momentum moving forward and continue to work hard for our goals. Very proud of all the wapello arrow girls wrestlers this week on there performances.

In kindergarten, we read The Mitten by Jan Brett. We role played and took turns being the animals that climbed into Nicki's mitten. We tumbled out when bear sneezed! Aaaa choooo🐻🐁🦡🦔🦊🐰🦉
Sara from Louisa County Conservation visited kindergarten to help us learn how animals survive in the winter. We talked about migration, hibernation, and adaptation. We also met some animal friends and held animal pelts. Thank you, Miss Sara!!

WCSD Food Pantry will be open from 3:45 to 5:00 TONIGHT! Toiletries, cereal, baking supplies, chips, snacks, pudding, crackers, rice, beans, fruit snacks, cookies, pastas, canned fruits and vegetables, condiments, soups, coffee, tea, fruit juice, canned meats, frozen chicken, ground beef, ground chicken, little smokies, and more!
Open to all families of WCSD students!

We're so glad to be back at school! As a reminder, we will go outside for recess when the "real feel" temperature is 10° and above. Snow pants, snow boots, hats, gloves/mittens, and a warm coat are needed for the students to enjoy some fresh air and snow ❄️ ☃️
