Are you getting our alerts when there is a schedule change? As part of our mobile app, you can receive Push Notifications that will pop up on your mobile device when we announce those delays, cancellations, and rescheduling of events.
To receive those push notifications from Wapello Community Schools:
1. Download the Wapello Community Schools App from the App Store for Apple Devices, or the Google Play Store for Android
2. Select "Settings" from the menu of the Mobile App
3. Move the slider to "on" for Turn On Notifications
4. Where it says "RECEIVE NOTIFICATIONS FROM:" Select "Wapello Community Schools", a check mark should appear

Congratulations to the Wapello Large Group Speech contestants who competed this past Saturday at Cedar Rapids Kennedy.
Ensemble Acting (Drew Ehrman, Lydia Fisher, Matthew Peterson, & Claire Hoeg) received a Division I rating. Marking a Division II rating was Group Improv (Blake Maine, Alex Caudle, Riley Gerst, Timber Bolander, & Tess Loyd), Musical Theatre (Blake Maine & Makenna West), & Group Mime (Lily Williams, Alex Caudle, Riley Gerst, Chalee Ramos, & Matthew Peterson).
ATTENTION: tonight’s JV/Varsity Boys Basketball game has been postponed for tonight. It is tentatively rescheduled for Friday, Feb. 8th.
Wapello is dismissing 2 hours early today, February 5th because of the ice storm headed our way.
