
The Wapello Indians Track and Field team opened the season yesterday by participating in the Dickinson Relays at the University of Northern Iowa UNI Dome.

There will be a parent/student meeting for students in grades 8-11 who would like to travel to Washington, DC in April of 2020. The meeting will be 3/12 @ 5:30 in room 102.

Selected members of the Wapello High School Choir are attending rehearsal for the SEISC Select Vocal Festival at Lone Tree High School. This evening will feature a concert that will begin at 6:30 p.m. and feature participants from each school in the conference.Come out for a great night of music at Lone Tree High School!

Congratulations to 7th Grader Matthew McGowan as he moves on to the State Geography Bee at the University of Northern Iowa! He will compete with 100 other students from around Iowa for a chance at the National Title in Washington D.C.! Best of Luck Matthew!

The Wapello Soccer Teams and Coaches will be hosting a Youth Soccer Coaching Clinic and Youth Camp on Saturday March 9 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. or on Tuesday March 12th from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the High School Gym. Coaches of Youth Soccer Teams can attend for free and the cost for the Youth Camp is $5 per session (you only need to attend one session but can attend both for an additional $5). Questions can be directed to High School Coaches Cari Cline or Megan Brown.
