1st graders enjoyed our last field trip to Wildcat Den & Fish Hatchery!! We enjoyed grinding corn into flour, eating pancakes, & touring the mill. We sat in desks in a one room schoolhouse, visited a log cabin, made & tasted our own butter, and went for a wonderful hike!! We learned about animals that live in the ponds at the fish hatchery & what the purpose of one! Pretty sure the snapping turtle was the highlight! 😊🐢
