Wapello Community Schools

The Wapello High School Student Council, along with the WHS Activities Department, is working to create a "student section" at football games this season. The goal is to locate this "student section" in the north part of the Home bleachers (allowing readily available access to the handicap ramp on the south end), where the band and all 6-12 grade student will be asked to sit. As such, we'd like to come up with a name for this "section"; so we're asking for community suggestions and support!. Help us by completing the short survey below to give us suggestions. Congratulations to WHS Pom Squad Members Amber Martens and Emma Schoonover! These young ladies were selected out of hundreds of auditioning dancers from Iowa high schools to be members of the All-Iowa Honor Dance Team. The Wapello Indians and Arrows Cross Country Teams will be in action tonight at the Bellevue Invitational. The first race will begin at 5:00 p.m. at the Bellevue Golf Club. Directions to the course can be found in our App under Activities and Cross Country. Select the gray circle with the arrows in it to have the directions sent to your smart phone.
