Some Halloween themed Science in 4th grade. Skeleton hands show what bones are in our hands and look like on an X-ray. We also talked about skulls and what they look like and do for us.

Every Friday afternoon during the season Coach Parsons has been sending our junior and senior Indian football players over to the elementary to read to classes, help with activities, or just play at recess. This morning they took the entire team over to meet, greet and high five the kids before school! We are building #wapellotribepride! #wearewapello

Pretty neat way for staff and students of Wapello Elementary to be greeted to their day. These guys have been in all season and supported the reading in the classrooms on Friday’s and made connections to the kids all Fall. Results on the field are all good, but these young men are making a difference in their community and school beyond the field. It has not gone in notices, and these kids won’t soon forget it.
