The Award Winning Wapello FFA has done it again! They have captured another State Soils Championship over the weekend. Pictured are the team members: Reserve Champion Individual Emma Schoonover, 6th Place Individual, Christopher Ewart, 9th Place Individual, Lydia Fisher, and 11th Place Individual, Daniel Hemphill. The award winning Wapello FFA Chapter has done it again! They have captured another State Soils Championship over the weekend! With the win, the team has qualified for the National Soils Contest in May in Oklahoma. Team Members include Chritopher Ewart, Lydia Fisher, Daniel Hemphill, and Emma Schoonover. The team captured the overall team title, and Top Pit Evaluation Team. The individual team scores are Emma Schoonover, 6th Place, Christopher Ewart, Lydia Fisher, 9th Place,and Daniel Hemphill, 11th place. The Wapello High School Marching Band will compete today at the Wilton Festival of Bands at Wilton High School. Wapello is scheduled to perform at 4:50 p.m. this afternoon. Best of luck to the Marching Indians as they fine tune their routine for next week's State Marching Band Contest. Go Band!
