It is Friday, so that means it is time for another Staff Feature Friday Spotlight! Today we recognize our 6-12 building secretary, Ms. Rae Laneia Boulton. Rae began working at Jack and Jill right out of high school and spent 18 years there before coming to work at the Wapello Community School District. Rae has spent the last 22 years in the JR/SR High Office managing the day to day tasks and making sure the building operates smoothly! Her family includes her children, Annie (Colby) Springsteen and Brooke (Tyler) Thye and her three granddaughters, Haven and Emery Springsteen, along with Remi Thye. In her spare time, you will find Rae spending time with her granddaughters. She also enjoys watching her extended family's kids participate in their sporting and extracurricular activities. Any other spare time that Rae has, you can usually find her at a WHS event supporting our students. Our last question for Rae was, "What do you like about working at the Wapello Community School District? Her response was, "The camaraderie within the HS Building and whole district. I enjoy watching the kids of our little town grow up and mature, becoming young adults." Congratulations to Rae for being selected for our Staff Feature Friday! Check back next Friday for another staff member to be featured! #wearewapello #wapellotribepride
