CONGRATULATIONS to the 2020 Wapello Pom Squad for their 3rd place finish in the Poms category at this year's ISDTA competition in Des Moines. They also received a Division 1 rating for their Novelty routine. Also, congratulations to Lizzy Maine and Amber Martens who danced their way to Div. 1 rating in the Individual category.

The 56th Annual Willard Howell Wrestling Tournament is set for Dec. 4th at 10:00 am. While spectator limitations are still in force, we offer a way for viewers to watch the tournament in it's entirety on our NFHS Network. We are helping to spread the word on this great program! Victory Christian Center, a local Louisa County church, is giving away free boxes of food for families in Wapello TODAY Saturday, December 5 from 9:30am to Noon. Each thirty-pound box will contain fresh food and milk, and is completely free. Boxes will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
