The Wapello Post Prom Committee is hosting a Silent Auction Bake Sale tonight at the Wapello/Mediapolis basketball game. There will be delicious cinnamon rolls, cookies, cupcakes, and other treats from our talented local donors. Sale starts at 4:30PM and winners will be announced at half-time of the boys' game. Proceeds go to Post Prom! There will also be a 50/50 drawing at the game tonight. Iowa State University Extension is offering a opportunity for students in grades 3-5 over the Christmas Break. Nutcracker + STEM The Nutcracker Ballet tells the story of a young girl, a heroic prince, and the fantastic dream they share. Kids will be looking at not only the Nutcracker – but also the science, technology, engineering, arts, and math that are part of the theater world through a reader’s theater performance and some fun challenges! Participants will perform a Reader’s Theater for family starting at 3 pm! This is for kids in grades 3-5 at $10 per participant. Space is limited, so register early!
