Picture Day is coming! Wapello Elementary and Wapello Jr/Sr High will have their fall pictures taken on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. WCSD has selected Halverson Photography to do school pictures this year! The Wapello CSD Mobile App has gone through a re-design, and we are very pleased with the new layout of our mobile app. One thing we have discovered is that in order to receive our push notifications for important information, you must go in and enable the notifications on the new re-designed mobile app. To do this, simply push the menu button, select Settings, then agree to configure settings by pressing the button at the bottom that reads, Got it, Select Push Notifications, and then select Wapello Community Schools. That is it! Once you have completed these steps, you are all set, you will receive our push notifications that are sent out. Please call the district office with any questions at 319-523-3641.

The Wapello CSD food pantry will be open Thursday, September 23rd from 3:45 - 5:00. We have milk, cottage cheese, shredded cheese, sour cream, butter and eggs.

Attention Elementary Parents! Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress scores will be sent home with 4th and 5th grade students this week. These results will provide educators, parents, and students important information about student performance that can be used to guide learning to best help each student. Wapello Junior High School and Wapello High School have many events occurring throughout the week.
The first event is MAP testing occurring on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday this week. This assesses the students in reading, math, and language. Students will test during AAT and complete one test each day.
Parent / Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday from 5:30 - 8:00 P.M.
-- There will also be parent/guardian meetings as well.
6:30-7 PM - Senior Parent Meeting with Ms. Eakins
7 - 7:30 PM - Junior Parent Prom Meeting with Ms. Bostian
8 PM - Boys and Girls Soccer Team Meeting
