The filing period to file nomination papers for the Wapello Community School District Board of Directors is coming to a close. Currently the district has two seats that will be open on this year's election. Each seat is a four year term on the Board of Directors. Nomination papers must be filed with the Board Secretary, Eric Small, by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021. If you are interested in obtaining papers to run for election, please contact Eric Small by email @ eric.small@wapellocsd.org or by phone at 319-527-1460 for more information. Candidates must obtain 25 signatures on their nomination papers from eligible Wapello School District voters to be considered for the November 2, School and City election.
