The Indians Track and Field Team will return home tonight for their final home meet of the 2022 season. We will honor our seniors at tonight's meet. The field events will begin at 4:30 and running events at 5:00 p.m. Come cheer on the Indians as the look to add to their team titles for the 2022 season! Wapello boys golf team defeated WMU tonight and were led by Casey Short with a 46 and the girls lost and were led by Dakota Griffin with a 61.

The Wapello Junior High Indians and Arrows will open their 2022 Track and Field Season at home this evening in the Wapello Co-Ed Relays. Come cheer on the Indians and Arrows in what will be a great night to take in some Track and Field action by the future Indians and Arrows. #WeAreWapello #WapelloTribePride

Who needs a new Wapello Hat? The Wapello PTO can hook you up with a new Wapello hat from their current Hat Fundraiser! The hats are available in two colors, and will feature the new Wapello W Logo. It will be another busy week at WCSD! Most all of our student athletes will be in competition again this week and we kick it off with two back to back nights of Track and Field on Monday. Monday, the JH Track will have their home meet, and Tuesday will be the Indian Relays. Our golf teams will be in action on Monday along with the Girls Track Team, throw in State FFA Leadership Conference, a JH Vocal Festival, High School Band and Choir will be traveling to Florida for their music trip, and a School Board Meeting on Wednesday night. It will be a busy week with a well deserved Spring Break over the Easter Holiday for our students and staff. Come out and cheer on our student athletes and performers this week at one of our events! #WeAreWapello #WapelloTribePride

Louisa County Extension is offering a one-day workshop that will help to build skills, maturity, and confidence to safely stay home alone. This workshop is for 4th-6th graders and will be on Monday, April 18th from 9 am – 3 pm at the Letts Community Center.
