Ellie is the daughter of David and Tami Lanz. Ellie states Mrs. Marshall as the teacher who had the most impact on her life while in high school because she was always there to help no matter what. Ellie also took all the classes taught by Mrs. Marshall, so she spent a lot of time in her classroom. Ellie's plans for after graduation are to enter the workforce. Best of luck, Ellie!

It is finally May! We are into the final month of the 2021-2022 School Year and that means things get really busy for the next four months! This week is no exception. We kick of Teacher Appreciation Week this week, and our teachers and support staff are the best around! We appreciate all of the hard work that they put in throughout the year! This is another busy week for our students and opportunities are out there each day this week to go cheer on our students as they perform in different activities throughout the week. Come cheer on our students as they compete in this week's events! From Junior High Track to HS Track, Golf, and Soccer, there are plenty of opportunities this week to help cheer them to victory! #WeAreWapello #WapelloTribePride

Tade is the son of Todd and Trish Parsons. While in high school, Tade participated in football, basketball, and track for 4 years. Tade says his dad, Mr. Parsons was the most influential teacher during his time at WHS because pushed him to be the best student and person he could be. Tade's advice to underclassmen is do not put off homework, just get it done. Tade plans to play football at Upper Iowa University while majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Financial Management with an emphasis in Sports Management. Good luck, Tade!

Dakota is the son of Harlod and Traci Boline. While at WHS, Dakota participated in football, wrestling, choir, and FFA for 4 years; drama and FCA for 3 years; student council for 2 years; and track, band, and National Honor Society for 1 year. Ms. Bostian is the teacher who had the most impact on Dakota's life because she pushed him past his comfort zones into the person he is today. Dakota plans to attend DMACC (Des Moines Area Community College) and get an associates degree in agribusiness and possibly continue on for a bachelor's at Iowa State. Dakota leaves this advice for underclassmen, "Don't be afraid to try new things!" Best wishes, Dakota!
