MedForce 2 from West Burlington will be making a special landing at Wapello tonight to deliver the official game ball as the Indians take on the North Cedar Knights in IHSAA Football.

This is not an emergency, but a unique way to kick off tonight’s matchup. 🙌

The lockdown has been lifted. There is no active threat to any area schools.

Louisa County law enforcement has requested that area schools go into a "soft" lockdown, based on a potential threat they received toward an unspecified school. A soft lockdown means that students and staff can move freely about the building, but they will not be allowed to leave the building. This soft lockdown is in effect for both the elementary and the secondary buildings.

It's game day! Make sure you show the cheer squad support tonight and stand up & cheer! It's also youth cheer night and we will have our mini cheerleaders performing tonight too!

The Indians take on North Cedar tonight in a non-conference match up. Kick-off is 7pm. Tonight is also youth night! Youth football athletes & coaches get in free! Go Indians!

Congratulations to our very own Arrows for securing a spot in The SEISC finals held at SCC! The arrows defeated Pekin, L-M, and Mediapolis to land first in their pool! The Arrows will take on West Burlington Saturday night at 5pm for the first round of the finals! Go arrows!
