This Friday's Staff Feature Friday puts the spotlight on our Wapello Junior/Senior High Principal, Mr. Steve Bohlen.
Mr. Bohlen's family consists of his wife, JoLynn, and his children Trae (deceased), Tia (WHS Graduate), and Toni (WHS Junior).
Mr. Bohlen holds his Bachelor's Degree from Wartburg College and a Master's Degree from Drake University.
Mr. Bohlen has a combined thirty-four years in education. Three years were spent in other districts, and the last thirty-one years have been spent at WHS. Mr. Bohlen has served as a Teacher, Athletic Coach, Associate Principal/A.D., and Principal in the Wapello Community School District.
In his spare time, you will find Mr. Bohlen fishing, exercising, and supporting the students of the district at any of the many events held throughout the year.
When we asked Mr. Bohlen what he liked best about working at the Wapello Community School District, he had this to say, "We have great students and a great staff!"
